  • Must be at least 5 years of age diagnosed with ASD.

  • Must provide a mental health form from your child’s mental health care provider stating a service dog would be beneficial to help mitigate their disability

  • Must be able to pass a background check (primary handler)

  • Must be able to financially care for a service dog (routine vet care, food, equipment, supplies, etc.)

DISABILITY TASKS:

  • Light Pressure Therapy

  • Tactile Stimulation

  • Tethering

    • We do not train tethering for safety purposes alone. We only train tethering as two leashes - one for child, one for primary handler. This is to provide the child with an object to hold. We are also able to provide a handle harness for our Autism Assistance Dogs as well.
