PSYCHIATRIC SERVICE DOGS

ELIGIBILITY:

• Must be at least 10 years of age with a psychological and/or emotional disorder

• Must provide a mental health form from your mental health care provider - if you do not have a mental health care provider, you must provide 3 personal references

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Must be able to financially care for a service dog (routine vet care, food, equipment, supplies, etc.)

• Deep Pressure Therapy

• Light Pressure Therapy

• Crowd Control

• Behavior Interruption

• Nightmare Interruption

• Finding an Exit

• Alerting to Approaching Individuals
